Operating Instructions
Basic Operation
Once paired, simply press the button on the wireless switch to toggle the connected appliance (e.g., light) ON or OFF. The switch provides a tactile click and a subtle LED indicator upon activation.
Multi-Control Scenarios
The AENTIA system supports flexible control configurations:
- Multiple Switches Control One Lamp: You can pair up to 10 wireless switches with a single receiver, allowing control from various locations (e.g., a 3-way switch setup).
- One Switch Controls Multiple Lamps: A single wireless switch can be paired with multiple receivers, enabling simultaneous control of several lights or appliances.
Signal Range
The RF 433MHz signal can transmit through walls, floors, doors, and panels. In open areas, the control range can extend up to 50 meters. For stronger signal reception, the receiver's antenna can be carefully extended.
Maintenance
Battery Replacement (Wireless Switch)
The wireless switch is powered by a 12V 27A battery, which typically lasts about 5 years. To replace the battery:
- Carefully open the switch casing.
- Remove the old 12V 27A battery.
- Insert a new 12V 27A battery, ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the switch casing securely.
Cleaning
Wipe the switch and receiver with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the devices in water.
Troubleshooting
Signal Issues
- If the signal reception is weak, try extending the antenna on the receiver.
- Ensure the switch battery is not depleted.
- Verify that the switch and receiver are within the effective operating range.
Clearing Paired Devices (Reset)
To clear all paired wireless switches from a receiver:
- Ensure the receiver is powered on.
- Press the learning button on the receiver 8 times. Wait for 3 seconds. The indicator light will blink rapidly and then turn off, indicating that all paired devices have been cleared.
